This is a short addendum to 336.
I wanted to mention perhaps the most glaring and obvious thing, so obvious that I failed to mention it (because it took me so long to watch this one adventure), and that is the Doctor's crazy wardrobe at the beginning of this story.
I already mentioned the strange sight of the Brigadier in a kilt, but the Doctor also really gets into the spirit of things with a ludicrous Tam O'Shanter, a type of Scottish floppy hat with a bobble named after Robert Burns's poem, and a long tartan scarf.
That small observation, quite clearly, did not merit whole episode of its own, however brief, so let's move on to the Aftershow.
My Tourette Syndrome symptoms have gone haywire. It hasn't been this bad for a while. I'm debating whether to take medication again, but the drugs zonk me out and I have too much to do. I thought I'd tell you this as, although two more show's worth of show notes are ready to go, I'm finding sitting down and recording a nightmare because of the frequency of my tics.
But please don't give up on the show. I'm still here and things are still moving along. It's just that the cogs need lubricating. That's a terrible metaphor, but I'm show you get the point.
